A youth led socio-political group, the National Youth Re-Awakening Forum for 2023 (NYRAF-2023) has endorsed Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for President in the forthcoming general election.
The group disclosed this on Sunday during a virtual press conference it convened at the PRNigeria Press Centre in Kano.
According to the Convener of the group, Adnan Mukhtar Tudunwada, the choice of Bala Mohammad for President has become imperative because the choices citizens make in electing the next leadership of the country is very key to our collective progress.
“With the lots of security, economic and social crisis accompanied by the COVID-19 pandemic disruption, our Nation is on the brink and it requires the baton to be handed over to a pragmatic leader who uses forcast, vision, tact and strategic implementation to deliver on his mandate for the benefit of all citizens.
It is on the backdrop of this consideretion and painstaken consultations that we, the National Youth Re-Awakening Forum for 2023 chooses to endorse his Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammad (Kauran Bauchi) for President,” Mr. Adnan said
He assured Nigerians that the decision of the Bauchi State Governor for President was not just stumbled upon by the group but was decided after scrupulously weighing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of every potential candidate for the forthcoming race and, “it was obvious that Bala Mohammad’s antecedent, trajectory and track record not only supercedes that of the other candidates, but his election as President of the Federal Republic comes with a lot of endless possibilities for the benefit of Nigeria and Nigerians.
His performance as a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and his reformative and transformative strides as an incumbent governor of Bauchi State is evidence enough that he is capacity personified. More so, he is still very active and vibrant coupled with the fact that he is not lacking in age requirement.”
The group mostly constituted by breakaway members of the Kwankwasiya Political ideology noted that the North West zone have mostly produced the chunk of Presidents that have come from the North and considering that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will likely zone the Presidency to the North, it is incumbent that the party looks no further that the North East and Bala Mohammad in particular.
It therefore urged Nigerian’s to open their eyes to the promising prospect of a Bala Mohammad Presidency and join hands with them in realising the project.
