Mustapha Yusuf, a middle aged man, has trekked from Sokoto to Bauchi to see for himself the giants developmental projects Governor Bala Abdulkadir has been executing in the state and demonstrate his solidarity for him.
Mr Mustapha who arrived Bauchi on Monday was received by Governor Bala Abdulkadir and other top government functionaries at the Government House Bauchi.
Speaking to reporters shortly after his arrival, Mustapha said that the Governor’s numerous developmental projects are what informed his decision to trek from Sokoto to Bauchi to encourage the Governor to do more for the people of Bauchi State.
He said the projects currently being executed in the state, speak a lot about Governor Bala’s commitments to restructuring the state and give it new face outlook.
He said that he is cherished by his Governor Bala’s simplicity and amiable personality.
Governor Bala Muhammad while welcoming his August visitor expressed his deepest appreciation for the support he received from Mustapha.
As a show of appreciation, Governor Bala presented a brand Peugeot 406 to Mustapha saying “Bauchi State is known for its hospitality and generosity.”
It will be recalled Governor Bala Mohammed is a card carrying member of PDP and Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State is the Chairman of PDP Governor’s Forum.
