National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, Kaduna State Chapter has commended the state government for the recent recruitment of over one thousand health workers.
The Chairman of the association, Comrade Ibrahim Lawal Kubau made the commendation in a statement in Kaduna.
Comrade Ibrahim Lawal Kubau explained that the employment will compliment human resource gaps analysis in two hundred and fifty five Primary Health care facilities.
He further explained that the intention of the  government to upgrade all primary health care centers across the state is a welcome development.
Comrade Ibrahim Lawal Kubau also praised the  State Primary Health Care Board for the smooth recruitment exercise and also by providing adequate personal protective equipment in the health facilities for workers against COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
He therefore urged the people in the state to acknowledge government efforts to access the health services in those facilities .
Comrade Ibrahim Lawal Kubau appealed to the government to employ Community Health Practitioners that are ready to serve in the rural areas of the state.
