Electricity : Rep David Wants Gashaka/Kurmi , Sardauna Connected With National Grid

Federal Lawmaker representing Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna constituency in Taraba State ,Hon David Abel Fuoh has raised a motion in the green chamber stressing the need to connect his constituents with the national grid
David during the Tuesday plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila  Said the Kashibilla hydropower plant makes it easier for the Federal Government through the Yola Distribution Company to Link his Constituency with the national grid.
The motion was raised under matter of public urgent interest by the member, saying that the people have never been connected with the national grid hence the urgent need to do so.
This , according to him,  is in view of the rubost Power sector of the Federal Government and this will go a long way in revamping the socio economy nature of the three Local Governments in Taraba state in the area of education, health and agriculture.
While raising the motion, David enjoined other Lawmakers to support the motion because of the hidden potentials it would unravel to the entire Taraba state.
Speaker Femi commended the timely motion initiated by Fuoh as it is people and community driven.
Speaking to newsmen later, Hon. David said electricity has become the hub of Economy driver that drives and attracts investors from all works of life.
David was of the opinion that if there could be steady electricity , his Constituency will have more opportunities to irrigation farming and  other  businesses thrive
