The Chief of Ninzo in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Northwest Nigeria Alh Umar Musa has called for unity among his sons and daughters with a view to guaranteeing lasting peace and development in the area.
He also enjoined them to avail themselves during the National Congress of Ninzo Community Development Association scheduled for next Saturday preparatory to the 2020 annual Ninzo cultural festival (Igah Ninzo).
Similarly, the Interim National President of the Ninzo Community Development Association, NCDA, rtd Col Dauda Anto appealed to the people of Ninzo both at home and in diaspora to close ranks and pull resources together towards projecting the Ninzo nation.
A statement signed by the Interim national Publicity Secretary of Ninzo community Development Association, Mr Gambo Santos Sanga expresses the sincere readiness of the current NCDA leadership to organise a colourful Ninzo cultural festival this year.
According to the statement, the annual cultural festival which could not be observed in the last three years due to challenges ranging from security and internal cohesion will be stage this year to commemorate the installation and coronation of the Paramount ruler of Ninzo, Alh Umar Musa.
The statement also called on Ninzo sons and daughters to take advantage of the Ninzo Community Development Association Congress with a view to make the festival a success.
It further urged the people of to continue to support government and other constituted authorities towards guaranteeing lasting peace and development in Ninzo land.
It could be recalled that the last edition of the annual Ninzo cultural festival was organized during the reign of the Late Chief of Ninzo, the 14th, Alh Ibrahim Yakubu who passed on three years ago.
