Nigeria: Kufana Confers Traditional Title On El-rufa’i …Lauds His grassroot Oriented Programmes

In appreciation of his people oriented programmes, the Kufana District Traditional Council in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has conferred the title of Agom Otuma (Sarkin aiki) on the Governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-rufa’i.

The conferment is contained in a communique issued at the end of the council meeting chaired by the District Head, Chief Titus Dauda and attended by village heads and traditional title holders.

The Council advised the District Head to liaise with the appropriate authorities when to present the regalia of the title to the Governor.

It re-assured of its commitment to working with relevant authorities for lasting peace and development in Kajuru Local government area, the State and the country as a whole.

The Council which appreciates the construction of Kasuwan Magani market by the El-rufa’i Administration, pledges its full loyalty and support to the government.

Members of the Council who also pledged their loyalty to the District Head, resolved to uphold the traditional institution.
