Nigerian Election: Titbits On Rigging Mechanism

As Nigeria goes to the polls on Saturday, AFRICA PRIME NEWS deems it necessary to alert the electorate on some of the rigging mechanisms.

These are non- Usage of Card Readers, Multiple thumb printing, Late arrival and insufficient electoral materials, Vote buying, refusal to record results on original Form EC8A at polling units.

Delay in announcing results, Using untrained ad-hoc staff, System of Recruitment/Engagement of Returning officers, intimidation/ harassment by security operatives, offering of newspapers to electoral officers at polling units, excuse by Returning officers to go out of the Collation centres.
