Nigeria – Atiku Care Foundation Donates Assorted Items Worth Millions Of Naira To IDPs

The Internally Displaced Persons’ (IDPs) camp in Yola, Adamawa State, Northeast region, came alive on Tuesday when the Atiku Care Foundation stormed it with assorted items worth  millions of Naira.

Reports say the donation shook the entire camp as the IDPs offered prayers for Atiku Abubakar for his benevolence.

A statement signed by the Spokesman for  the foundation’s Chairman, Ambassador Aliyu Ibn Abbas, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available to newsmen said on sighting the trucks conveying the assorted items, the IDPs and officials became overwhelm of excitement.

“After the donation of the gift items at a brief ceremony, the highly elated recipients took turns to offer special prayers of appreciation to God to wish His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (GCON), the Wazirin Adamawa for more of God’s blessing, sound health and grace in life,” it stated.

 Those who spoke at the brief ceremony, praised Atiku’s consistent show of affection and love for the less privileged and the vulnerable.

All the Northeast states chapter chairmen and other officials of the Foundation were on ground  to give moral support.

Items distributed included bags of rice, gallons of oil, toiletries, noodles, Semovita, and detergents.

The foundation will in the same spirit, visit the IDP camp in Zamfara for a similar gesture on Thursday.
